College campus is completely under CCTV surveillance with 25 cameras, So
that girls students may feel social security. Keeping in view the environmental
conservation, College campus has three water harvesting ponds and the green
belt includes the plants of Mango,Guava,Jamun, Kinnoo and lemon.A grant of Rs.
fourteen lakh have been sanctioned for the construction of two stages, Track
for sports activities and one hundred meters boundary of six feet height for
safety purpose of the girls students.
Beside many Institutional Strengths are given blow:
1.The college is strategically located
on the crossing of NH 334B(Meerut- Loharu) and Hisar- Tosham-Mahendergarh
National Highway where it attracts a
large number of students from approximately nearby 50 villages.
2.The college is spread over a large
area covering 6.3 acres of land having pleasant and lush green environment
with decoration of flowers and
fruit plants.
3.College offer
various scholarships, as par Haryana govt. guidelines, for the student of
economically weaker section, schedule caste, backward class and freedom
fighter’s dependents which is most supportive measure to the students of this
college.
4.College offers
‘Earn While You Learn’. So, Students are earning money in college hours by
completing the assigned work under different department heads with their
studies.
5.College offers
online passports scheme for the U.G final year students.
6.The college is equipped with the
computer lab having 30 computers with 4GB RAM.
7.It is having ‘E’ library or Digital
Lounge with 25 computers, software and wifi connection with power backup for
search of contents by the students.
8.It is having library with more than
6213 text books, 266 competitive books,monthly magazines of national repute and
National and International Journals of Geography, History and Pol.Science
9.Library has sufficient 160 chairs
for seating,40 dual tables, 4 news paper stands and one coloured printer with
power backup.
10.It has well equipped Physics and
Chemistry Labs.
11.There is a mathematics lab
equipped with 21 computers having ‘C’ language software that is object
oriented.
12.There is one GIS lab with 21
computers having GIS software and one Cartographic Geography Lab for PG
Geography and one lab for UG classes with 6 computers having practical
software.
13. It is having one seminar hall with seating capacity of 90 persons.
14.There is well qualified teaching faculty of 25
Assistant / Associate/ Extension Professors(11 are Ph.D. holders and 5 are
pursuing) as per UGC norms to meet out the requirement of current teaching and learning process.
15. It has three undergraduate courses(B.A, B.Com, B.Sc. NM) and three
post graduate courses(M.Sc. Geography, M.A. History and Pol. Science with adequate internal subject choice
offered to students.
16.Two active NSS units(100 students in each unit) of college undertake
the various activities to promote social welfare and harmony. NSS volunteers
took part in various state and National integration camps where they got
different positions as given below:
(A) During the session 2018-2019
Ms. Jully of B.Sc. 3rd Year got
1st position in District level competition held at GCW Badhra on 17-09-2018 and
participated in state level competition held at GC Panchkual (sector 1) on
20-09-2018.
(B) During the session 2021-2022 Pooja and Renu of B.Sc 3rd participated
in state level NSS Camp held at Ch. Ranbir Singh University Jind from
19-10-2021 to 25-10-2021.
(C) During the session 2021-2022 Ms. Kalpana of B.A 2nd attended state
level NSS Camp held at CBLU Bhiwani from 16-11-2021 to 22-11-2021 and got third
position in Skit competition.
(D) During the session 2021-2022 Ms. Kalpana of B.A 2nd and Manisha of
B.Sc 3rd attended the National Integration Camp at CCSHAU Hisar from 16-12-2021
to 22-12-2021. Ms. Kalpana got first position in Skit competition during the
camp.
(E) During the session 2022-2023 Ms. Kiran of B.A 3rd attended the
National Integration Camp at BRCM Behal from 23-11-2022 to 29-11-2022.
17. Students perform very well in academics in the university exams in
comparison of other colleges.
18.Extra remedial classes are taken to support the slow learners.
19.Various committees like anti-ragging, students grievance committee,
cultural, career counseling, women cell and placement cell have been
constituted to facilitate various schemes for help of students.
20. Students perform well in extra-curricular activities including
cultural and sports at university and state level competitions.
21. During academic year 2020-2021,Ms. Jyoti of B.A 3rd got third
positions in district legal literacy competition.
22. During academic year 2020-2021, Ms. Monika of B.A 3rd got 1st
position in state level online competition held at GCW Ateli.
23. During academic year 2021.2022, Ms. Monika of M.A 1st (Pol.Sc.) got
third position in sate level legal literacy competition held at Adarsh college
bhiwani.
24. During academic year 2021.2022, Ms. Monika of M.A 1st (Pol.Sc.) got
second position in district level Essay
writing competition held at Adarsh college Bhiwani.
25. Many of the students participated and got the positions in different
state level competitions of maths and science exhibition and quiz competitions.
26. As a result of facilities
provided to the students, many students have passed the NET/JRF and pursuing
the research programmes. Many of our students joined in different departments
on different capacities like clerk, Haryana police, Delhi police, Railway
Police Force and the school teacher in central and state govts.
Achievement of Science Students
During
last five year different students of the college participated in different
activities on various platforms. The participate got the positions in different
way:
1.During 2018-2019 Ms.Monika and Nitika of B.Sc.2nd year got 6th and 9th
position in district level science essay writing competition held at JVMGRR PG
College charkhi dadri on 25-10-2018 and
participated in state level competition held at MDU Rohtak on 25-01-2019.
2. During the session of 2019-2020 the students got second position
(Physics) in district level science exhibition held at GCW Badhra on 15-16
November 2019.
3. During the session 2021-2022 the two students (Radha and Priyanka of
B.Sc 2nd Year) got first position (Physics) in district level science
exhibition held at Ch. Bansi Lal GCW Tosham 13-11-2021.
4. During the session 2021-2022 the students (Amisha and Usha of B.Sc
3rd and Nidhi B.Sc 2nd) of the college selected for zonal level science quiz
competition held at Govt. PG college Hisar on 02-12-2021.
5.During the session 2021-2022 the two students (Radha and Priyanka of
B.Sc. 2nd Year) participated in state level science exhibition held at Pt. NRS
Govt. college Rohtak on 07/08-02-2022.
6. During the session 2021-2022 the three students of the college were
selected for science essay writing state level competition which was held at
GVM Girls college sonipat on 21-04-2022.
7. During the session 2021-2022, Nikita of B.Sc. first participated in
state level online Chemistry quiz contest and got third position which was held
at GCW Madlauda (Panipat) on 28-01-2022.
8. During the session 2022-2023 the students of the college (Radha and
Priyanka of B.Sc. 3rd and Nikita of B.Sc. 2nd) participated in district level
science quiz contest and got first position which was held at JVMGRR PG college
Ch. Dadri on 18-10-2022.
9. During the session 2022-2023 Ms.
Nidhi of B.Sc. 3rd and Suman of B.Sc. 1st participated in District level Essay Writing competition and Nidhi got third
position and Suman got 6th position, held at JVMGRR PG college Ch. Dadri on 15-11-2022.
10. During
the session 2022-2023 the students of the college (Radha and Priyanka of B.Sc.
3rd and Nikita of B.Sc. 2nd) participated in zonal level science quiz
competition held at Govt. PG college Hisar on 02-12-2022.
