CODE OF CONDUCTS FOR STUDENTS

Following codes shall apply to all sorts of conduct for students in the college premises as well as outside the campus if it calls for adverse impact on the institution’s interests or reputation:-

 

·    To attend all the classes regularly as per the assigned timetable and maintaining at least 75% record in his/her attendance.

 

·    Absence in class for more than 7 (Seven) days together without any information to the concerned teacher will result in getting the name struck off as well as invite a fine.

 

·    Student will have to bring their parents/guardians to seek readmission within 15 days of their name getting struck off the rolls. Admission may be given with a penal payment of Rs 500/- and permission from the Principal of the college.

 

·    It is mandatory to wear college I-card all the time while in the campus and show it when asked for by the faculty/staff.  

 

·    Student should contribute in maintaining cleanliness of the campus by using waste bins, not destroying any green areas/ flora and avoid using any plastic material in the campus.  

 

·    Student using vehicles while coming to college have to use the designated parking and abide by all traffic rules by wearing helmets and are also personally responsible for the safety of their vehicles.

 

·         In case of misbehavior or gross indiscipline or making indecent gesture/remarks with fellow student or staff member, a student can be suspended or rusticated from the college.  

 

·         Should not destroy/steal/damage or access without permission the college property or property of other student or faculty member or support staff. 

 

·         Political activity in any form is not permitted in the college campus. Unauthorized meeting, propaganda work, processions or fund collections are forbidden within and outside the college.  

 

·         Harassing juniors, ill-treatment towards fellow student or any other form of ragging is strictly prohibited and liable to be treated as criminal offence as per the provisions envisaged under Haryana Anti Ragging Act, 2012.  

 

·         Student shall refrain from using mobile phones unnecessarily and they shall keep their mobile phones in silent mode especially in the class and library.

·         Students are prohibited for organizing party/function/meetings, distributing notices/exhibiting banners/flags/posters etc. at their own level without prior permission of the Principal.

·         It is mandatory for each student to wear STUDENT IDENTITY CARD during the college time. In case of loss/damage or change of card(s) due to some amendment, a written request signed by the parent and through the class teacher should be submitted immediately to the Discipline In charge through the class teacher for issuance of the Card.

·         Shouting or whistling, running, talking in/around corridor or the college building is not allowed.

·         All students must come to the college on time. The late comers will not be allowed to enter the college.

 

·         It is mandatory for all the student to attend the seminars/workshops/extension lectures conducted for them and they cannot enter/leave the room without the permission of the concerned teacher

·         Students must move in an orderly manner while they are moving in the college premises.

·         Care must be taken of the college property and no one is allowed to scratch or spoil the desks and chairs or damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the walls or in any way damage any article belonging to others.

·         Any damage done to the college property will be made good by the concerned student together with a fine money imposed for such an offence.

·          Any student who notices something damaged should report to the teacher even if he/she does not know who has done it.

·         No student should bring any weapon or sharp articles like scissors, knife, cutter, steel/metal bangle etc. to the college.

·         Smoking, chewing and spitting tobacco products or pan masala, consumption of alcohol or narcotic drugs is strictly prohibited inside the college premises. Violation of this rule will invite disciplinary action. The college premises is a smoking free zone, respect it.

·         All expressions or activities which are immoral, antisocial, communal and anti-national are strictly prohibited in the College Campus.

·         Students must refrain from mishandling and tampering with library books or college computer systems.

·         The right to access Girl’s Common Room is reserved to girls.

·         Students are prohibited from indulging in games, even in small groups, anywhere in the College premises during lecture hours.

·         Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited. Disciplinary action will be taken against those who violate this rule.

·         Academic integrity refers to an essential quality that an institution must uphold to fulfill its academic objective and research mission, and hence its violation constitutes a serious offence. The principles of academic integrity form an integral part of the code of conduct to which all the students of the institution must adhere. Breach of this code puts into question both the reputation of the Institution and the value of the degree awarded to the students. Every pupil of the Institution should be responsible to ensure the highest quality of the academic integrity.

·         Students should carefully follow the Notices put up on the Notice Board or shared via Telegram, WhatsApp or through any other Online Mode. No excuse will be considered if shared Notices are ignored by the Students.

·         The College campus is a No Smoking/Alcohol and Drug Free zone.

·         Students are expected to contribute towards the academic/social/environmental initiatives that the institute may undertake.

·         Students are required to keep safe custody of their valuables.

·         any unhealthy relationship between students that might affect their academic performance, breach their personal space of affect the reputation of this institution will be strictly dealt with.

·         The principal shall be the final authority in the interpretation of the College Rules. Matters not covered by these rules are left to the discretion of the Principal and his/her decision shall be final.
